John Dicks passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, September 14, 2012. Born in Georgetown, PEI, son of the late John and Christina (Fowler), Dicks. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years Mary Theresa (MacLellan); two sons John of Whitehorse and Bill of Halifax; as well as two daughters, Karen (Bob) Miller and Christine (Frank) Fitzpatrick; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by two sisters Agnes and Kay. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, September 16 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, September 17 at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations in John's memory may be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation.
