It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Barbara Ann Dunlop of Chignecto, on Thursday, September 13, 2012 in the comfort of her home at the age of 68 years.
Born September 21, 1943 in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late J. Bruce and Annie (Schwinghammer) McKinnon.
Barb leaves behind to mourn her beloved husband, Ross of 35 years; son, Michael (Debbie) Farrow, Maccan; daughters, Karen (Paul) Agnew and Darcy (Michael) Holt, both of Amherst; step daughter, Lisa (Scott) Dunlop, Maccan; grandchildren, Rebecca, Justin, Michaela, Maddison, Kristopher, Nicholas and Amanda;
Besides her parents, Barb was predeceased by her special aunt, Elizabeth Hunter and cousin, Fred Hunter.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst (667-9906). There will be no formal services at the funeral home.
