It is with great sadness that the family of the late VIOLET THERESA WALSH of Marystown formerly of Lord’s Cove, NL announces her passing at her home in Marystown on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the age of 64. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Andrew of Marystown, Walter (Jr.) of Thompson, MB; Daughters Andrea (Sean) Fortin of Esterhazy, SK, and Cindy Walsh of Thompson, MB; Mother-in-law Blanche Thurston; Sisters Alice Isaacs, Marion Carter, Bridget Hennebury, Lorna Fitzpatrick, Doris Lamb and Mary Hennebury; Brothers Arnold Hodge, Thomas Hodge, and Jamie Hodge; 7 Grandchildren Nicole, Cody, Landyn, Zander, Kiana, Adam & Patrick; 2 Great-Grandchildren Ryder & Jerzey; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Walter (1995), Parents Louisa & Thomas Hodge, Sisters Angela & Cecelia Hodge, and Brothers Curtis & Paul Hodge.

Funeral Service took place at St. Elizabeth’s R.C. Church in Lord’s Cove on Thursday August 30, 2012 at 2:00pm. Inurnment followed at St. Elizabeth’s R.C. Cemetery in Lord’s Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations in Violet’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
