It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys Payne announce her passing on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Health Science Centre in her 71st year. She will be sadly missed by her children, Larry (Shirley), Dorothy (Edmund), Pansy (Paul), Beverly (Dave) and Jennifer (Brent). 10 grandchildren: Michael, Jamie, Tammy, Steven, Chantel, Danielle, Emma, Brayden, Savanna and Sierra. Her siblings: Eric (Ella), Irene, Edna (Tom), Pauline (Gordon), Bill (Gloria), Judy (Kevin), Dave (Audrey) and Ella (Seymore). Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wilson, infant son Norman, parents Augustus & Lillian and brother-in-law Lloyd. Visitation took place from the Pentecostal Church in Rocky Harbour on Wednesday, August 19, 2012 from where the funeral service will take place today, Thursday, August 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the family plot.
