Veronika Heher Becker Fahey, age 60 of Sackville passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Austria she was a daughter of the late Karl and Theresia (Waxenegger) Heher.
Veronika was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed taking long walks in nature to commune with God and build connections with her family and friends. She will always be remembered by her family for her words of wisdom, her honesty and loving relationships that have been formed over a lifetime.
Veronika will be deeply missed by her children, Claudia (Remo) Tummillo, Christoph (Pamela) Becker, Anika (Cory Jamieson) Becker and Daniel (Leanne Johnson) Becker; grandchildren, Alex, Siobhan, Jordyn, Jeshua and Josiah; as well as many extended family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300). Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Veronika's life will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 6 p.m.
