The death occurred at the St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Warren, Michigan on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, of Orpha Dueweke, of Warren, Michigan age 81 years. Born in St. Raphael, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Margaret (Gray) Ryder. Orpha lived in St. Raphael until 1947 when she and her parents moved to a farm in Wellington Centre. In 1951 after her daughter was born, Orpha moved to Moncton where her son was born the following year. Later she moved to Ontario before settling in Warren, Michigan, where she was employed at a radiator plant until her retirement. Survived by her husband Emmett Dueweke who she married August 27, 1972; daughter Janice Campbell Perry (Edmond Perry), Miscouche; son James Ryder, Covehead; grandchildren Douglas, Diane, Glenda and Chris Campbell; Christopher Ryder; great-grandchildren Aaron, Amy, Carlie, Jayden and Chayden Campbell; Kyle and Zachery Janschula; and by a brother Ralph Ryder, Charlottetown. Predeceased by her brother Vernon; sisters Doreen and Ruby. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan. No visiting hours by personal request.
