MacDonald - a private Commital Service for Claire Doreen MacDonald, 87, occured on September 25th, 2012. She was the daughter of Alla Shaw (Campbellton, NB) and Donald W.A. MacDonald (Stellarton, NS). Following her graduation from St. Martha’s Nursing School, Antigonish, she held positions in Montreal, New Glasgow and finished her career as plant nurse at Hawker-Siddley, Trenton. She is survived by three sons, Donald, Gordon and Patrick MacDonald and daughter Heather Campbell-Brassard, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbank, William F. (Bill) MacDonald, her daughter-in-law, Brenda, her brothers; Shaw and Burke and sister Joan. Cremation has taken place, followed by burial in Christ the King Cemetery with Fr. Gary MacPherson officiating. Donations can be made to the SPCA or charity of one’s choice.
