BOUDREAU, DAVID - David Clarence Boudreau, 1959 - 2012, of Fort Qu’Appelle, SK passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, September 21, 2012. David was born in Winnipeg, MB. He was the son of Dorothy Boudreau and the late Clarence Boudreau of Oromocto NB. David will be greatly missed by his mother Dorothy, wife Dianne and son David, his sister Patsy (Fred) Jennings, his brother Darrell (Connie) Boudreau, nieces Julia, Alicia and Nicole and nephew Alexander. David was predeceased by his son Stephen in 2006. After completing his education in Oromocto, David had a full career in the Canadian Armed Forces. His military career spanned twenty one years serving on Her Majesty’s Canadian ships as well as numerous shore postings including CFB Goose Bay, Shearwater, Portage La Prarie, Dundurn (Saskatoon), and Esquimalt (Victoria). David also completed two tours in Cyprus and served in the Gulf war. He retired from the military in 1997 and moved to Fort Qu’Appelle where he was employed by the Parks and Recreation Department for the past ten years. David enjoyed wood working and he was an avid hunter and also a member of the Fort Qu’Appelle Lions Club.
A celebration of life was held with the family, Thursday, September 27th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s name to the Children’s Wish Foundation, 3602 Millar Ave. Saskatoon, SK, S4P 0B1 or a Charity of your choice.
