Passed peacefully away after a short battle with Cancer at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, September 23, 2012, Susie Sheppard of Harbour Grace, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents: Hugh and Priscilla Barrett; sister: Clarice Vail. Left to mourn, husband: George; two sons: Nelson, St. John’s and Philip (Marie), Mount Pearl; three grandchildren: Jessica, Justin and Adam; two sisters: Betty Crane, Tilton and Mabel Trowbridge, Spaniard’s Bay; brothers-in-law: Hughie (Shirley) Sheppard, Carbonear, Eugene (Marjorie) Sheppard and David Sheppard, both of Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law: Ruth Giberson, Hartland, NB and Lorraine White, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker conducted the funeral service on Wednesday, September 26 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace.
