Louise Helen March, 91, of 118 West St., Brantford, Ont., formerly of Sydney, passed away, Sept. 21, 2012, at Brantford General Hospital.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Hartrey) March.
Helen was a former member of Holy Redeemer Parish, Sydney. She retired in 1985 from Harding Carpets of Brantford after 36 years in their factory. She was a member of the Brantford Echoettes Bowling Club, the Catholic Women’s League, the Lions Park Seniors Club, the Brantford Seniors Centre, was a long-standing member of the Harding Carpets 1\4 century club and was on the altar society of St. Basics Church Brantford for 36 years.
She is survived by sister, Adeline Richards of London, Ont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, William and Albert, sisters, Julia Larick and Mary Menzies.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1 at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2 at Holy Redeemer Church. Rev. Paul Murphy will officiate with interment in New Calvary Cemetery.
