The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family at the Western Hospital, Alberton, of David Marchand of Alberton aged 44 years. Cherished son of Jean (nee Bernard) and the late Duane Marchand of Alberton. Dear brother to Paul (Tracy) Marchand, Wellington, and Bobby (Wendy) Oshawa, Ont. He is also survived by nieces and nephew Vanessa, Travis, Kelsey, Eleni and Sabrina and a special aunt Ada Perry of St. Louis. He was predeceased by his father Duane, grandparents Eddie and Margaret Bernard and Alphonse and Emma Marchand. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, for visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-10 a.m. Funeral will be held Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Celebrant Rev. Jacques Rigaud. Memorial donations to the Western Hospital Equipment Fund or Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
