It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. After a lengthy battle, Alice succumbed to cancer at Kamloops Hospice with family at her side.
Predeceased by her son David Patterson, sister Mary and brothers Roy, Norman and Ted.
Alice will be dearly missed by her loving husband and best friend Bob Carlin of 25 years. Also sons: Lyle (Brenda) Patterson, Ted (Colleen) Patterson, Dan (Sandra) Patterson and brothers Donnie Russell and Art (Evelyn) Russell. Stepchildren: Margaret (Don) Johnson, Barb (Jerry) Town, Debbie (Randy) Clifford, Leona (Karl) Bischoff, Ken (Michelle) Carlin, Shirley (Richard) Brooks and Joanne (Joe) Dobson and proudly, 32 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
After working many years at Kresgees in Red Deer and K Mart in Kamloops, Alice retired in 1994.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice.
A Celebration of Alice's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire the family requests that donations, in memory of Mom, be made to the Kamloops Hospice Association, 72 Whiteshield Crescent S., Kamloops, B.C., V2E 2S9 or Chase Legion Branch #107.
