We, the family of Margaret E. Bragg, regret to announce her passing at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late William and Antonette McNamara of Sydney Mines.
She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima parish, Sydney River and a life member of Our Lady of Fatima C.W.L.
She is survived by her children, Joe (Helen); Ida; Allan (Marlene); Terry (Ann); Steve (Marie); Margaret (Roger); Paula and Eileen; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and one great- great-granddaughter.
Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1983 and daughter, Linda in 1997.
A special thank you to the staff of Waterford Heights, 3rd floor. Also a warm thank you to her faithful friends, Eileen Forrest and Avitus Cameron. Many thanks to family doctor, Dr. Peter Jackson.
Visitation for Margaret Bragg will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 in T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel, 755 George St. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Fr. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Reception to follow in church hall. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
