Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor, Placentia on Thursday, October 4th, 2012, Jean Best of Thornlea, Trinity Bay, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband Jack, daughter Myrtle, infant daughters Emma and Beaulah and infant son Robert, her parents, sisters and brothers. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Clyde ( Julie), Mavis (David) Butler, Ed (Rita), Viola (Jerry) Dodd, Lewis (Sharon) and Donald (Sandra); 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law. Also a large circle of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Faith United Church, Thornlea. Visiting hours Friday 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Saturday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m. from Faith United Church with interment to follow in Faith United Cemetery, Thornlea.
