Keith Thomas of Halifax passed away Oct. 6, 2012, at the VG Site of the QE II Hospital.
Keith was born in Montreal, Que., Oct. 14, 1962, and was the son of Phyllis (Lively) and the late Thomas Sudds of Halifax.
Keith is survived by his siblings, Wayne, Calgary, and Darlene, Halifax; brother-in-law, Andy Sarka, Lake Ainslie; and close friend, Stephanie Munroe (Pal) of Halifax; along with numerous nieces, nephews and relatives throughout Nova Scotia and Canada.
He was predeceased by brother, Gary, Sydney, and sister, Heather, Lake Ainslie.
Keith was a longtime employee of Maritime Tel & Tel/Bell Alliant and will be remembered by his numerous friends, neighbours and co-workers in Halifax and Cape Breton. Although he enjoyed travel throughout North America he always loved his Nova Scotia home, particularly Lake Ainslie in Cape Breton and the City of Halifax. Keith enjoyed fishing and travel and in the past several years got great satisfaction volunteering his time at the Bedford Players Theater Company.
A memorial service will take place Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. at Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax, where a reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers Keith specifically requested donations be made to the Bedford Players Theater Company as well as the Craig’s Cause which provided comfort to Keith in recent years.
