Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizen’s Home, Clarke’s Beach on Saturday, October 6, 2012, Mr. Calvin Whelan of Clarke’s Beach, aged 92 years. Predeceased by wife; Mary Whelan (nee-West); Grandson: Perry Whalen; brothers: John Butler, Bert (Gladys) Vineham, Reg Butler, Harold Butler; sister: Laura (George) Butler. Leaving to mourn; Sons: Glenn (Ivy) Jim (Phyllis); Daughters: Frances Ackerman (Wayne) Donna Mercer (Lester) Louise Roberts (Jim) Michelle Whelan; 14 Grandchildren. 24 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild. And a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach. Visitation Sunday: 2-4 PM: 7 – 9 PM: Monday: 2 – 4 PM: 7 – 9 PM.
