Al Skiftun
1952 - 2012

Al Skiftun passed away on his farm in the RM of Prince Albert from an illness the morning of October 6, 2012. Al was born on June 29, 1952 in Melfort, SK He was a very private soul who enjoyed his home, family, grassy yard, hunting, sports, fishing, co-workers, helping others as well as making them laugh. Al lived simply. He was an excellent manager, he worked as an electrical foreman for Tron Power in Cigar Lake, SK. Al is survived by Charlotte, his wife of 33 years; his children Monique (Kelly), Josh, Brianne (Ryan) and Johnny (Jessica); his 6 beloved grandchildren; his parents Mildred and Lloyd Skiftun and his siblings Debbie (Marvin), Tammie (Richard), Penny and Terry (Tom). At Al’s request no funeral service will be held. Visitors welcome to his home to share memories with his family are very appreciated. Come soon while his kids are home. A Memorial BBQ will be held following spring which will be announced at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
