Passed peacefully away following a brief illness on October 7, 2012. Predeceased by his 2 grandfathers: Hubert Pardy and Arthur Moores. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his parents: Gerald and Daphne (nee Pardy) Moores; brother Paul (Ottawa, ON); sisters: Kimberley (St. John’s) and Laurie (Andrew) (Texas, US); grandmothers: Beatrice Pardy (Bonavista) and Florence Moores (St. John’s); best friend, who was like a brother, Justin Dunne; as well as many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Thursday, October 11 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
