Passed away in the presence of his loving family on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre after a courageous battle with cancer, Francis John Pope, at age 60. Leaving to mourn his loving children: son, John and daughter, Sarah; precious granddaughter Mia Frances Squires; brother, Tom and family; sisters: Catherine and Alice and families. Miller Centre. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Thursday and Friday, October 11th and 12th, from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Memorial service to be held from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel on Saturday, October 13th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
