RYERSON, Faye Bertha – 63, it is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce that our beloved Faye passed away on October 6, 2012 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital with both of her children by her side after a short courageous battle with cancer. Born in Yarmouth on January 12, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Alice (Pitman) Earle. Faye retired in 1995 after 26 years working as a secretary for the Department of Natural Resourses. Faye is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Brian; daughter, Kim (Sean) Carroll, Chegoggin; son, Brent, Brooklyn; brother, Bruce (Nancy) Earle, Brooklyn; sisters, Barb (Jim) Nicholl, Yarmouth; Nancy Earle (Brad Allen), Yarmouth; sister-in-law, Margaret Earle. Faye was also the most special Gram to Katie and Brandon. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Vernon. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth. There was no visitation by family request. A memorial service was held Wednesday, October 10 at 2 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. A.D. “Bill” Newell officiated. Interment followed in Brooklyn Cemetery.
