On Monday, October 8, 2012, Harold Arthur Pettit (Budd) passed away peacefully two weeks short of his 92nd birthday, surrounded by his family.

Budd was predeceased by his loving wife Rosemary in 2008.

He will be lovingly remembered by his four children Robin Karpiak (Dennis), Bill (Lorna), Harry (Anne) and Jim; his ten grandchildren Scott (Rebecca), Andrew (Casandra), Rob (Katie), Jamie (Lisa), Allison (Sylvain), Elise, Harrison, Camille, Jeremy and Joe; his four great grandchildren Daniel, Jake, Roselyn and Holter; and many dear friends.

Budd was the youngest of eight children and his passing marks the end of an era. He was his family's war hero, a shoe salesman extraordinaire, a keen golfer, an avid gardener and a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He was a devoted caregiver to Rosemary in her last years. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Cres. S., Kamloops, V2E 2S9, would be greatly appreciated.

A Celebration of Budd's life will be held, Saturday, October 27, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Capilano Golf Club, West Vancouver.
