Passed away suddenly at The Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, NL on October 10th, 2012, Roy Harvey Kitchener Sheppard of Whitbourne. Predeceased by his wife, Rosalind Sheppard and his mother and father, Susan and Kitchener Sheppard. Leaving to mourn daughter Janine and son Craig; brothers: Eric (Kathleen), Dan (Effie); brothers-in-law: Junior (Nora), Lloyd (Sandra) of Whitbourne; sisters-in-law: Martha (Neil Hillier), Audrey (Lloyd Adams), Norma (Noel Dawe, deceased) of Whitbourne; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives, co-workers, and friends. Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation : Saturday 7:00 – 9:30 p.m., Sunday 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:30 p.m., Monday 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., 7:00 – 9: 30 p.m., Tuesday 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm from St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Whitbourne. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Blaketown. No flowers by request. To honour Roy’s memory, the family has requested donations be made to the S.P.C.A., or The Indigo Love of Reading Foundation.
