MacPherson, Lawrence -71, of Wolfville, Passed away peacefully at home on October 14, 2012. Born on Bighill Road, New Boston,Cape Breton. Lawrence was a son of the late Allan and Sarah (MacDonald) MacPherson. He was retired from the Canadian National Railroad and was proud of his Cape Breton Heritage. Lawrence will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by devoted wife Patricia (Mahar) MacPherson, sons, Richard MacPherson and Josh Benjamin; daughters, Jessica Rose Levy, Erica Rand, Brenda Moore, Heather Turner, Nancy Benjamin; brothers, Lloyd MacPherson, Louis MacPherson, George MacPherson; sisters, Grita MacPherson, Sarah MacPherson, Mary MacPherson, Nora MacPherson, Hazel MacAskill, Carmel Spairling, Eileen Peters and Elizabeth MacSween; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by sisters Sylvia Black and Judy MacAskill. Cremation has taken place and at Lawrence’s request there was no service or visitation. Donations in his Memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Palliative Care unit or the Annapolis Valley VON.
