Dorothy Mary Sears
Peacefully, at Beach Grove Home on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, of Mrs. Dorothy M. Sears (nee Sangster) age 85 years.
Beloved wife of the late John T. Sears and dear mother of Elizabeth “Libby” (Clifford) Wilson of Rice Point, P.E.I., Andy (Catherine) Sears of Cecil Lake, B.C., Patti (Don) Machell of Cereal, Alta., and Dorothy (Al) Engst of Gabriola Island, B.C. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Andrew “Drew” Wilson, Jonathan Sears, Christopher Sears, Cory (Laura Lumsden) Machell, Aileen Machell, Sheenagh (Tanner Snell) Machell, Tiffany (Ben) Abram, Tessa (Brendon) Kirkland, Allen Engst, Lara (Dan Kenyon) Engst and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Claude and Daisy (Mousseau) Sangster; grandson, Shea Machell; brothers, Claude, John “Jack” and Fred Sangster.
No visitation or funeral service by personal request. The committal service will take place at a later date in the family plot in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home.
