The death occurred suddenly, as the result of a motor vehicle accident, on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, of Paul Cormier of Summerside, aged 53 years. Loving father to his daughters Sarah (Tim) Brown and Christina (Aaron) Lyle; their mother Theresa (Arsenault) Cormier; special friend Ashley Benoit; their daughter Hailey Benoit Cormier; stepmother Betty Cormier; brothers and sisters Anne (Garth) Wood; Laurena (Brian) Taylor; Allison (Pauline); Merlin (Kate); Terrance; Alfreda (David) Gonzalez; Jean Cormier; Sheila (Jason) Simmonds; Gary (Judy); Marie Cameron, his mother by heart; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Alberton, he was the son of the late Alfred and Eva (Perry) Cormier. Predeceased by his sisters Joanne Rayner and Donna White; brother Carl Cormier; and by a brother in infancy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for a memorial mass at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday from 6–9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to his infant daughter Hailey’s Educational Trust Fund would be appreciated.
