LeBLANC, Emily Elizabeth – 96, The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth and formerly of Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co., passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Meadows. Born June 16, 1916 in Wedgeport, she was a daughter of the late Jess and Alfonsine Boudreau. She worked as a housekeeper and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and was very fond of children. She is survived by a son, Joseph (Debbie Doucette) LeBlanc, Wedgeport; grandchildren, Faleesha (Tyler) DeViller, Matthew LeBlanc and Megan Lockie; great granddaughter, Hiley Lockie; step granddaughter, Faith. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Howard, as well as by brothers, Leo and Everett, and sisters, Ella, Grace, Jeanette, Evelyn, Vivian, Margaret and Annabelle. Visitation took place from 7-9 Wednesday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport. The funeral mass was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 18 at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc officiated. It was requested that there be family flowers only.
