Passed peacefully away at Saint Luke’s Home on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, Phyllis Piercey of Port Rexton, aged 95 years. Predeceased by her husband John R., son Austin, daughter and son-in-law Yvonne & Warren Stagg, infant sons Donald and Keith and granddaughter Kimberly Stagg. Leaving to mourn, with many loving memories, her daughters: Donna (Roy Haynes) and Marilyn (Brian Miller) and daughter-in-law Patsy Piercey. Special mother to Darrell Piercey and much loved grandmother to Keith (Robbi) Piercey, Cathy Piercey, Brian (Angela) Stagg, Michael (Suzanne) Stagg, Dale (Jillian) Haynes, Cory (Bridgette) Haynes, Jonathan Miller and Hayley Miller. She leaves as well, her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Saint Luke’s Home for their care and compassion. Resting at Christ Church, Port Rexton with visitation on Friday, October 19. Funeral service to be held from there on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11 a.m with interment to follow. Donations in her memory may be made to Christ Church Memorial Fund or a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville, NL.
