GOYER, LORNA MARY - 1933 - 2012 - Lorna M. Goyer of Riverview, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, October 19, 2012 at the age of 79 years. Born in Montreal PQ, she was the daughter of the late William and Susie (Smith) Thornton. Lorna was a member of the Wesley Memorial Church, and a member of the Moncton Curlers Association. She is survived by her daughters Donna Morley (Douglas) of AB, Carolyn Mitchell (Terry) of AB, Brenda Capogreco (Dale) of Two Mountains, Lori Brooks (Steve) of AB; Theresa Chamberlain (Marc); son in law Stephen Trueman of Moncton; son Jeffrey Goyer (Ceendee) of AB; grandchildren Allison, Shawn, Chylene, Sandra, Jody, Alyssa, Terri-Lynn, Douglas, Meaghan, Victor, Sam, Ryia, Justin, Morgan, Mackenzie, Danielle and Michael; and 17 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Vic Goyer; daughter Bonnie Trueman; sons Glenn and Bill; brother J. Bruce Thornton.
Visitation will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 11 AM with Craig Dickson L.L.W.L officiating. Donations in Lorna's memory made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
