Trevor Howard Thomas Cameron, age 63, of New Glasgow passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 20th, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital surrounded by his family.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Gerald and Phyllis (Harper) Cameron of MacPherson’s Mills.
Trevor loved working in the woods and did so for over 40 years. He enjoyed working with his stamp collection, reading novels and socializing. He was also an avid card player who loved playing crib and auction with his many friends. He enjoyed sitting outside and spending time with his Hillside View family. His wonderful sense of humour and love of life will be truly missed by all.
Trevor is survived by his wife; Irene (MacGregor) Cameron of New Glasgow; and children: son Trevor Jr. (Noha) Cameron of Halifax, daughters Valerie Cameron of New Glasgow; Cara (Dominique) Cameron of Aylesford; grandchildren Jillian Cameron, Lillian Gould, Maya Cameron and triplets Nicholas, Abigail and Cameron Douaire; siblings Gerald Jr.(Phyllis) Cameron of Trenton; Diane (Donald) Cameron of MacLellan’s Brook; Elaine (Harold ) Cameron of Caledonia; Harold (Ella) Cameron of Miramachi; and Philip “Bim” (Susan) Cameron of MacPherson’s Mills.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the H.W.Angus Funeral Home. There will be no visitation by request and a private family service will be held at a later date.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
