RICHARDS, Nellie Alice Belle - 87, Truro, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, October 20, 2012, at The Mira Long Term Care Centre, Truro. Born March 30, 1925, in Wallace, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Ola (Miller) Tattrie. Nellie was a cook and worked for Keddy’s Motor Inn for several years. She loved knitting, sewing, dancing and playing cards. Nellie is survived by her sons, James (Vangie), Courtney (Paulette), Sterling (Debbie); daughters, Ruth (Vaughan), Pearl (Gary), Dorothy (Gordon), Crystal (Gary); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Tattrie; sister, Barbara Pidgeon; sisters-in-law, Elsie Tattrie, Barbara Tattrie; many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wilson Truman Richards; brothers, Norman, Courtney; sister-in-law, Helen Tattrie; brother-in-law, Jack Pidgeon.
