The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Saturday Oct. 20, 2012, of Marne R. Costain, St. Lawrence, aged 84 years. Beloved husband of Laura (Murphy) Costain, St. Lawrence. Marne was born in St. Lawrence on March 20, 1929, the son of the late John and Etta Costain. Dear father to Wendy (Alphonsus) Profit, Profit’s Corner; David Costain, St. Lawrence, and Debbie (Raebern) Dunn, Elmsdale. Loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Norma MacInnis, Holland (Adele) Costain, St. Lawrence, and a sister-in-law Pearl Costain, Summerside. He was predeceased by his parents John and Etta, sister Buelah and brother Gordon. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd., for visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m with Rev. Lynn McKinnon officiating. Interment in the Miminegash United Church Cemetery, St. Lawrence. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
