Myrna Louise McCully
McCully, Myrna Louise – 74, Debert passed away October 22, 2012 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. She was born February 5, 1938 in Beaverbrook, the daughter of Phyllis (McNutt) Graham and was raised by grandparents, Frank and Laura (Geddes) McNutt. In earlier years, she worked along side her husband as a cook in the lumber camps. Myrna was a quiet, reserved woman who loved her family. She was also a gifted tole painter and she enjoyed her years as a member of the Forest Products Association. She is survived by daughter, Stacey (Randy) Culgin; son, Shayne; grandchildren, David, Laura, Emma, Denver, Isaac, Hayden; sister, Helen Johnston. Myrna was predeceased by her husband, Manning; son, Sidney; infant daughter, Teresa, brothers, Brian Pothier, Roland, Wesley, Merle, Harold, Gordon; sisters, Winnie, Kathleen and Victoria. Visitation will be held this evening from 7-9 pm with funeral service on Wednesday, October 24 at 2 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Bill Martin officiating. Interment in Debert Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Debert Firehall or the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 106, Debert.
