The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, of Arnold Ramsay of Borden-Carleton, formerly of Beaverbank, N.S., aged 86 years. Born in Conway, he was the son of the late Clarence and Hazel (Smith) Ramsay. Survived by his children Barbara Ramsay (Leonard Trotchie); Arnold (Sandy) Ramsay; George Ramsay (Victor Lively); their mother Florence; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Eric (Joyce) Ramsay; Jean Milligan; Donald Ramsay; John (Nellie) Ramsay; William (Beulah) Ramsay; Elizabeth (Cecil) Palmer; Christine Moore;George Ramsay; Roma (Elmer) Larsen; Barbara O'Halloran; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Eleanor Ramsay. Resting at the MoaseFuneral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to the Borden United Church for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Freeland United Church Cemetery,Freeland. Visiting hours Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
