Passed peacefully away at his late residence, South River on Thursday, October 25, 2012, Mr. Clarence Thomas Piercey of South River (formerly of Pass Island, Fortune Bay, Port Aux Basques), aged 69 years. Predeceased by parents: Stanley and Laura Piercey; wife: Lorraine Piercey (nee Ash); brother Eric. Leaving to mourn: daughters: Judith (Brian) Kavanagh Stacey (Steven) DeMelo Melanie (Scott) Dufraimont; sister Mary (Stan) King; brother Stan Piercey; sister-in-law Phyllis Piercey; grandchildren: Andrea, Jacob Liam, Aidan Ashley, Joshua Zachary, Austin, and a large circle of other family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach. Visitation Tuesday: 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Anglican Parish of the Resurrection, South River with inurnment at a later date.
