Passed peacefully away on November 1, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre, Marilyn Laura Carr, aged 70 years. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Laura Carr. Leaving to mourn her children: Ericka Flynn (Todd), Marlise Ball (Ken), David Bugge (Franceline) and her loving partner, George King; twelve grandchildren; sisters: Elsie Evans (Lynwood) and Connie Carr; brother Vincent Carr (Betty) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff of both the Health Sciences Centre and the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation for the care and compassion shown to Marilyn during her stay there. At Marilyn’s request, cremation has taken place. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
