Passed away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on November 3, 2012, Alvin Joseph Simms, age 53, from Sweet Bay. Leaving to mourn with many precious memories are his wife, Fay; son, AJ; daughter, Alicia; 17 brothers and sisters; foster family, Cyril and Jane Peach and family; and also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rested at the Roman Catholic Church, Sweet Bay, from where the funeral service, officiated by Father Brian Colbert, took place on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 with cremation following.
