Mr. Peter Ewanchuk, age 88, of Moose Jaw passed away in his home on Tuesday November 6, 2012. Peter was a long time resident of Moose Jaw and faithful member of the Assumption Ukrainian Catholic Church. Predeceased by his parents and his wife Anne, Peter is survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a dear friend Anne Romanuk. A Prayer Service will be held at the Assumption Ukrainian Catholic Church, 625 5th Ave. S.W., Moose Jaw on Friday November 9, 2012 at 7:30 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at the Church on Saturday November 10, 2012 at 10:00 am. Reverend Yurij Lazurko will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorials to the Assumption Ukrainian Catholic Church would be appreciated. In living memory of Peter, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
