With great sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of Thomas Power of Goulds, on November 7, 2012, at the Health Sciences Complex. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories, his loving and devoted wife and best friend Cecilia (nee Murphy); son Stephen, daughter-in-law Sarah (nee Macfie), and two precious granddaughters Abigail and Samantha; sister Beth Power, sister Lil Sagona (Frank), Carol-Anne Tilton (Ken) and family, and Tammy Campbell, twin sister Ella White (Chet – deceased) and family, and sister Cathy Squires (Tom), Amanda Dunn and family, Jason Dunn (Joanne), and Jimmy Dunn (Chastity) and family; brother Cyril “Doc” (Bernice – deceased), Lynn Smith (Wayne) and family, and Rick, brother Walter (Sheila), Karen O’Neil (Chris) and family, and Keith (Leanne) and family, brother Fred (Lynn), Allison, and Robyn, and brother Don Williams (Mary), Stacey Dicks (Chris); special brother-in-law Cyril Murphy (Mary) and family; special sisters-in-law Mary Harris (Tom) and family, and Debbie Douglas (Bob) and family; special great-niece Chelsea Murphy; dear life-long friends Lorraine and Kevin Edney and family; as well as many other many wonderful nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Special thank you to the Health Sciences Emergency Department, 4NorthA, Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre, Dr. Siddiqui, Dr. Rourke, neighbours Marion, Stephanie, and Diane, also a special thank you to the nurses in Tom’s family — Lynn, Robyn, and Karen. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl, on Friday, November 9, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, Mount Pearl on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. No flowers by request, however, donations in Tom’s memory may be made to the Dr. H.
