At the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home, on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, of J. Alden Rodd, of Charlottetown, age 82 years.
Beloved husband of 62 years to Anna Rodd (nee Hewitt). Loving father of Linda Roper, Roy, Karen Rodd (Helen Lamphier) and Cindy Tait (Brian). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Erin and Michael Roper, Kristen Tait; and nine great-grandchildren. Brother of Arthur Rodd (Georgie). He will be missed by his dog, Ginger. Predeceased by his parents, Harry and Fanny (Bears) Rodd; by his two brothers and three sisters.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 5:30-8 p.m. Family flowers only.
