JONES, MARION G. - It is with sadness the family announce the passing of Marion Jones, wife of Edward “Ted” Jones which occurred on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born on January 26, 1938 in Kings Co, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Henderson) Macaulay. Marion worked at Centracare for many years until her retirement. She was a champion dart player, competing in many provinces. Marion also enjoyed playing cards, bowling, knitting and she loved her granddaughters dearly. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Troy Jones (Leslie); two grandchildren, Nikki-Lee and Haley. Marion was predeceased by her parents, and brothers: Carl, Arnold and Roy.
At the family’s request there will be no visiting or funeral service. Although a public committal service will be held in Cedar Hill Extension on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm. For those who wish remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
