Donald B. MacCallum
Passed away peacefully in Moncton on Thursday, November 8, 2012.
Born in Charlottetown, P.E.I., on April 30, 1934, he was the son of the late Edward and Catherine (Bruce) MacCallum. He retired in 1985 from ATC Moncton Center following many years of service. Don loved to travel and enjoyed his return visits to the Island.
He is survived by Catherine, his wife of 32 years; his daughter Judy Seaman (Lee) of Brackley Beach, P.E.I.; stepchildren Greg and Mike McGrath of Moncton, Bruce McGrath of Toronto; step-grandchildren Kyle, Jorden and Taylor; brother Gordie of Brackley Beach, P.E.I.; sisters, Anne Hyndman (Dave) of N.Y., Carol Lavers of Charlottetown, P.E.I.; grandchildren Kyle and Andrew Seaman; as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Catherine “Jill”, and his sister Joan.
There will be no visitation prior to the funeral service to be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home, Moncton, on Wednesday, November 14, at 3 p.m., followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
