Barbara Ann Hunt (nee Bailey), passed away November 9, 2012. Barb was born March 3, 1941 at Lucky Lake, SK, and moved to Moose Jaw in 1945. During grade 11 Barb opened the Bailey School of Dance. The School operated until Barb retired 30 years later. After graduating from grade 12, Barb obtained her bookkeeping certificate from Davidson Business College. After her retirement from the Dancing School, she joined Shoppers Drug Mart as bookkeeper for the next 10 years. Barb was very active at Minto United Church, as treasurer, Sunday School teacher, and pianist for several cantatas put on by the Church for fundraisers. Predeceased by her father William and mother Vina, Barb is survived by her husband Samuel (Bert) Hunt; daughter Margo (Eric) Rensby and children Noah, Anna and Tenicia – Kelowna; daughter Heather and children Kyle, Meghan and Chase – Regina; son Jeffrey (Joanne) and children Stephanie and Michelle – San Ramon, CA; brother Bill (Evva), sister Bonnie (Art) Dumont; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Service Celebrating Barb’s life, will be held at Minto United Church, 1036 Seventh Ave. N.W., on Monday November 19, 2012 at 1:30 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Memorials to Minto United Church, or Extendicare Family Support Group, 1151 Coteau St. W., Moose Jaw, S6H 5G5, would be appreciated. In living memory of Barb, a memorial planting will be made by W.
