God saw you were getting tired
and a cure was not to be,
so he put his arms around you
and whispered, "Come with me".
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best,
If love alone could save you,
you would have never left us.
Through all my fears and heartache
there's one thing that makes me glad,
that you chose me to share with you
those special years we had.
For this is a journey we all must take
and each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan
a step on the road to home.
May you stay safe in the arms
of God until we meet again.
Sadly missed, lovingly remembered by husband Gord, daughter Jenn (John C.) sons Gordon Jr., Stephen (Wendy), Kenny (Wendy), grandchildren Matty, Leah, Jack, Kellie, Jamie, mother-in-law Marquerite G., sisters Geraldine and Joan, friend Vilma
