Orvel was a patient, kind and loving man. He always saw the good in everyone and never had an unkind word to say. His career in the field of Human Resources took the family from Edmonton to Toronto and then Olive and Orvel to Penticton with their final stop in Kamloops and retirement from Weyerhaeuser.
Orvel was involved over the years with Kamloops United Church, Kamloops West Rotary, the RCAF Association, Blazers Booster Club and a proud member of the Guinea Pig Club.
