DOUTHWRIGHT, MERLA DARLINE - 1938 - 2012 - Merla D. Douthwright, 74, of 21 Crystal Dr. Riverview, and formerly of Pollett River, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Friday, November 16, 2012. Born in Pollett River, NB; she was the daughter of the late Hartley H. and Vera L. Douthwright. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church and a member the Catherine McGorman Women's Missionary Society. Merla loved genealogy, she has traced the Douthwright Family back to the 17th Century. She is survived by her brother Vincent D. Douthwright (Penny) of Pierrefonds, PQ; a niece Pamela Douthwright, a great nephew Kevin, great niece Samantha Kennedy; her uncle Russell Douthwright; aunt Doris Geldart, several cousins and close friends whom she loved dearly.
The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Baptist Church, on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 2:30pm with Rev. Jonathan Gorham officiating. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Merla's memory made to the Riverview Baptist Church Memorial Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
