WALSH, MICHAEL - The death of Michael James Walsh occurred after a brief illness, on November 19, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. James was the son of William (Bill) and Joan (McGrath) Walsh. Besides his parents, he is survived by his son Christopher (Susy) Walsh of Brooklyn, New York; his sister Mary Jane Walsh-Aubrecht (John) of Dartmouth, NS and brother Paul Walsh of Saint John and many close aunts, uncles, special cousins, nieces and nephew. James attended schools in Saint John, St. Rose and Vocational School. He worked in Saskatchewan, Newfoundland and returned to Saint John. He worked for a number of companies and recently for Kate Lynn Courier. He was a lover of music and fishing.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, November 21st from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church, Bayside Drive, Saint John; on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at 12:05 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice, it would be appreciated by the family.
