It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a much loved and wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her, Winnie Rita Brown, at the Interfaith Nursing Home, Carbonear, on Thursday, November 22, 2012, Winnie Brown, aged 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Edward (1977), infant son Frank, and brother Albert. Left to mourn her son Freeman (Mondella); daughters: Iris (Peter), Irene (Fergus), Ivy (Myles); grandchildren: Ronnie (Brenda), Rhonda (Darren), Cindy (Daniel), Stephen (Laura-Lynn), and Fergus; great-grandchildren: Samantha, Hunter, Blake, and Grace; sisters-in-law: Beatrice Dewling, Gladys Ryan, and Molly Jones; cousin Ettie Best; as well as a large circle of family and friends, especially Betty Morgan, Wayne and Theresa, Lisa, niece Brenda, and nephew Bob Warren.
