It is with great sadness that we announce Marie's peaceful passing at age 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband Earl (1993).She was the cherished mother of her daughter Diane Robbins and her devoted son-in-law Keith, loving grandmother to Kendall (Blair) and to her great-grandchildren, Hannah, Nathan, Lukas and James. She was predeceased by her sister Amy (2010) and brother George (2012). She will be fondly remembered by her sisters Cora (Allers) and Irma (Hacking), plus many nieces and nephews. Born in Aneroid, Saskatchewan, Marie moved to Moose Jaw in 1940 to pursue her nursing career. After nurse's training, she worked at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital for 30 years, ending her career as the Director of Admitting. In her personal life, she was proud of her family and all of their accomplishments. Marie was a kind, loving, generous and caring person, who always put others first. With her keen sense of humour and gracious manner, her passing will leave a deep void in many hearts. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 1:30p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca Street East, Moose Jaw. Della Ferguson will officiate. Interment will follow at the Family Plot, Sunset Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday November 30; 7-8:30p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Association, 301 – 2550, 12th Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4P 3X.In living memory of Marie, a memorial planting will be made by W.
