Passed peacefully away at The Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, Eric Marshall Sturge, aged 73 years. Lifetime member of the Orange Lodge, Royal Black and S.U.F. Predeceased by his son Shawn, 2006; parents: Richard and Kate Sturge; step-mother Priscilla Sturge; brothers: Clifford Sturge, Daniel Winsor and Stuart Winsor. Leaving to mourn his wife Lillian (nee Anthony); children: Joan (Woody), Cindy Bragg (Greg), Kimberley (Craig), Renee Dustan (Ron) and Glendon (Cindy); grandchildren: Justin, Krystle, Tyler, Kerri Lynne, Alexander, Gregory, Jerry and Jordan; great-grandsons: Hunter and Noah; brothers: Raymond Sturge (Peggy) and Major Claude Sturge (Ferne); sisters: Gertrude Cross (Herb) and Gloria Guy (George); also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from The Salvation Army Citadel, Adams Avenue on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
