It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Hilda ‘Heidi’ MacDonald on Nov. 29, 2012, at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Anthony) Halnuck.
Heidi was a very kind person, loved by all who knew her. For years she and her sisters always attended bingo together and also met for a good game of cards. Heidi’s pride and joy was her family, expressing daily how much she loved them, was a faithful fan of the Blue Jays, never missing a game on TV. She was an animal lover, especially her dog Bandit.
Heidi is survived by her loving husband of 41 ones, Stafford; daughter, Lorrie (Blair); sons, Paul, Lee, Chris (Nadine), Trevor (Bonnie), Wayne; sisters, Sadie (Raymond) Pastuck, Frances (Danny) Campbell, Rose (Phillip) Lewis, Tracey Wright, Elaine (Anthony) Lamey; grandchildren, Zackery, Dawson, Coady, Katarina, Destiny and Nevaeh and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her son, Robbie, sisters, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Suzanne, Pauline, brothers, Paul, Ronnie and Johnny.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Heidi’s life will be Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Leonard with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Cremation will follow. Reception at the New Waterford Army and Navy, 8th St., all are welcome.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500.
